Study Area: Microenvironment and Immunology Research
Location: DKTK Partner Site Freiburg, Department of Neurosurgery, University Medical Center Freiburg, Germany
Eligibility/Qualification: We are seeking a motivated PhD candidate with the following qualifications:
- Experience in RNA sequencing, single-cell genomics, and spatial transcriptome analysis.
- Proficiency in R and Python applications.
- Understanding of biological contexts and clinical issues.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Good communication skills in English.
Description: The selected candidate will be involved in:
- Application of spatial transcriptomic platforms (Visium, Stereo-Seq, and MERSCOPE).
- Development of novel functional read-outs and multi-omic data integration.
- Integration and further development of the software platform SPATA (SPAtial Transcriptomic Analysis).
