Description

The doctoral position involves extending an existing energy system model to include CO2 capture and utilization technologies, particularly in the industrial sector. Responsibilities include:

  • Detailed techno-economic modeling of CO2 capture and utilization technologies.
  • Modeling of natural and technical options for providing negative emissions.
  • Simplification of CO2 transport and storage representation within the model.
  • Development of scenarios for implementing CO2 technologies in a greenhouse gas-neutral energy system.
