Eligibility/Qualification:
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic researcher.
- MSc degree with excellent grades in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or relevant disciplines.
- Experience with Electromagnetic simulation solvers like Ansoft HFSS, CST MWS, Comsol Multiphysics, ADS, etc.
- Proven experience in Materials-microwave interaction studies.
- Preference for those with experience in biomaterials-based device development.
- Independent and creative thinker with excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Strong team spirit and willingness to work in an internationally oriented environment.
- Fluent in English.
Description:
PhD Position on the Development of Biomaterial-Based Microwave Sensor Networks
The goal of this PhD position is to develop biodegradable devices, including sensors, antennas, filters, RFID, and more, with acceptable technical specifications. This will involve developing a reproducible method for creating these sensors, optimizing material properties, and characterizing materials at microwave frequencies. The project also includes developing data processing algorithms, deploying sensor networks in agricultural scenarios, and establishing wireless networking communication links with the sensor nodes.
You will work alongside postdocs and other PhD students, engaging in simulation, fabrication, and experiments.
