Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Neuroscience, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong background or interest in computational neuroscience and biophysical modeling.
- Knowledge of embedded systems and FPGA development.
- Programming experience (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C/C++).
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Creative mindset with excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Good team spirit and ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment.
Job Description
The PhD candidate will:
- Develop a novel electrical nerve-stimulation interface utilizing a muscle-stretch feedback model.
- Implement a low-power, real-time FPGA-based system for adaptive stimulation.
- Combine biophysical modeling with embedded systems for practical applications.
