Eligibility/Qualification

  • Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Neuroscience, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong background or interest in computational neuroscience and biophysical modeling.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems and FPGA development.
  • Programming experience (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C/C++).
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
  • Creative mindset with excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Good team spirit and ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment.

Job Description

The PhD candidate will:

  • Develop a novel electrical nerve-stimulation interface utilizing a muscle-stretch feedback model.
  • Implement a low-power, real-time FPGA-based system for adaptive stimulation.
  • Combine biophysical modeling with embedded systems for practical applications.
