Description
Modern energy applications such as batteries, supercapacitors, fuel cells, and electrolyzers require an understanding of how molecules and ions navigate through nanoporous materials. The PhD candidate will use advanced microfabrication technologies to create model systems that will help isolate and study fundamental electrochemical processes under nanoscale confinement. This project will explore innovative methodologies to enhance the performance of these energy systems.
Your involvement will also include collaborating with the BioElectronics and Physics of Complex Fluids groups at the MESA+ Institute, as well as contributions to the Advanced Nano-Electrochemistry Institute Of The Netherlands (ANION). This role offers a comprehensive research experience in a collaborative and supportive environment.
