Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s degree in industrial design, interaction design, human-computer interaction, biomedical engineering, or a related field
- Self-directed and motivated learner
- Ability to critically engage with design methods, tools, and approaches
- Sensitivity to diverse needs and desires of individuals, communities, societies, and the planet
- Strong relationship-building skills with colleagues, practitioners, and citizens
- Proficiency in English, both in writing and speaking; proficiency in Dutch is an asset
Description:
This PhD research position entails addressing the health-related challenges individuals encounter at different stages of their health conditions. It involves exploring and furthering the use of design methods and emerging technologies to tackle changing needs in diverse health conditions. The research will focus on understanding stage-based needs, developing stage-based research approaches, and designing technologies to address these needs. Additionally, it will involve transdisciplinary collaboration and the projection of future staged-conditions.
