Job Description:
The selected PhD candidate will:
- Engage in research related to medical test processing under demand uncertainty, employing mathematical modeling and optimization techniques.
- Utilize tools such as reinforcement learning, queuing networks, and online algorithms to develop robust models.
- Collaborate with Labmicta, a leading medical laboratory, to ensure that research findings are implemented in real-world systems.
- Work within the CHOIR (Centre for Healthcare Operations Improvement and Research) team at the University, contributing to ongoing projects related to healthcare logistics.
