Study Area: The research will focus on understanding the impact of exercise and nutritional interventions on protein metabolism. The project aims to determine optimal protein intake requirements at both individual and population levels using novel amino acid oxidation methodology.
Scholarship Description: The PhD candidate will actively contribute to the full project plan, execute research studies within a clinical setting, prepare progress reports, publish academic articles, and participate in national and international conferences. The project, under the m3 research group, explores the modulation of protein requirements by factors such as age, physical activity, or clinical conditions.
Eligibility: Candidates should possess a Master’s degree (MSc) in a relevant field (e.g., nutrition, biomedical science, medicine, or exercise sciences/movement sciences). Demonstrated research affinity and interest in protein metabolism and/or tracer methodology are preferred. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent collaboration and communication skills and a strong drive for in vivo human research.
