Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree in Industrial Design Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Business and IT, or a similar field.

- Proficient in English and preferably Dutch.
- Ability to think visually and affinity for information modeling.
- Motivated and enthusiastic researcher.
Description
This PhD project aims to create a bridge between traditional paper-based systems engineering techniques, such as visual diagrams and engineer interactions, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) processes. The candidate will collaborate with industrial partners to analyze existing systems engineering approaches and develop a digital format for A3 Architecture Overviews (A3AOs) that integrates visual and logical information. The project offers a unique opportunity to enhance communication in systems development and contribute to improvements in the field of systems engineering.
