Eligibility / Qualification

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Neuroscience, Molecular Biology, Medical Biology, Pharmacology, or equivalent (must be completed prior to start date).
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture and standard cell biological techniques.
  • Safety Standards: Experience working under Biosafety Level 2 (S2) conditions.
  • Core Competencies: High level of accuracy, strong organizational and data documentation skills.
  • Research Focus: Strong interest in regenerative medicine and enthusiasm for learning/setting up new laboratory techniques.
  • Animal Work: Willingness to work with laboratory animals and complete required animal experimentation training.

Desirable Additional Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with animal handling (rat/mouse) and modern CNS injury models.
  • Experience with complex co-culture or organoid models.
  • Bioinformatics skills.
  • Strong written/verbal English communication and teamwork skills.

Job Description

  • Conduct research focused on mechanisms and therapeutic interventions for traumatic spinal cord injury.
  • Investigate human platelet lysate to develop translatable regenerative strategies.
  • Work in an interdisciplinary environment bridging neuroscience, biomaterials, and translational medicine.
  • Receive comprehensive training across both in vitro and in vivo experimental methodologies.
  • Present research findings at international scientific conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
