PhD Position: Single-cell Transcriptomics: Join our multidisciplinary international collaborative research effort to integrate cutting-edge developmental biology findings into translational cancer research focused on neuroblastoma. This childhood tumor presents significant clinical challenges, and our project aims to leverage recent advances in single-cell transcriptomics to uncover novel therapeutic targets and prognostic markers. We offer a dynamic and stimulating research environment, engaging with excellent international partners and utilizing advanced in vitro/in vivo models and patient samples.

  • Master of Science (MSc) degree or equivalent in molecular and/or cell biology.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Motivated to address scientifically challenging problems in pediatric oncology.
  • Proficiency in English language.
  • Positive mindset, communicative, and friendly demeanor.

Description: We are seeking a talented and motivated PhD student to join our collaborative research project aimed at improving treatment protocols for neuroblastoma. Utilizing single-cell transcriptomics data, we aim to identify novel therapeutic targets and prognostic markers. This fully funded position offers a dynamic and stimulating research environment, engagement with international partners, access to advanced models and patient samples, and excellent support for skill development in research methodology, data analysis, and scientific communication.
