Study Area: Chemical Engineering with a focus on the development and implementation of new technologies in (bio) chemical processes, including the use of ultrasound, green chemicals, continuous reactors, photochemistry, and artificial intelligence.
Scholarship Description: The successful candidate will undertake a PhD fellowship aimed at investigating the effects of acoustic energy, surfactants, chemical composition, and process settings on the spherical agglomeration of API crystals. The PhD project will involve acquiring necessary background knowledge, proposing and executing experimental plans, building setups, conducting experiments, analyzing data, and presenting results. The position offers a full-time mandate initially for one year, with the possibility of extension based on funding and performance, leading to the completion of a PhD in four years.
Eligibility:
- Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering with strong academic performance.
- Knowledge of crystallization, flow chemistry, ultrasound, particle size analysis, and inline image analysis tools is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English for scientific communication.
- Strong motivation and capability for independent research.
