PhD Position: Art x Science School for Transformation

Designation: Graduate Teaching Assistant (PhD Position)

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Hold a Diploma/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Game Development, or a related discipline.
  • Strong academic background with a keen interest in Games Research.
  • Proficiency in Game Engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal) and experience in user studies.
  • Motivation for inter- and transdisciplinary research bridging computer science, design, and art.
  • Excellent English skills (minimum Level C1), German language skills advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently with strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Passion for innovation, digitalization, and interdisciplinary research.

Job Description:

  • Conduct doctoral studies and develop a dissertation on digital game simulations addressing climate change.
  • Publish scientific papers and present findings at conferences.
  • Contribute to projects, organizational development, and teaching at the Art x Science School for Transformation.
  • Facilitate communication and knowledge transfer between disciplines.
