Eligibility/Qualification

  • Candidates must hold a university degree (MSc or equivalent) in plant biology, genetics, cell biology, biology, bioinformatics, biochemistry, chemistry, or a related discipline.
  • Degree must be completed no later than the start of the PhD project.
  • Strong interest in collaborative research in international and cross-sectoral contexts.
  • Adherence to MSCA mobility rules: Candidates should not have resided or carried out their main activity in the host country for more than 12 months during the 3 years before the recruitment date.

Description

The ViroiDoc project emphasizes advanced research on viroids, the smallest plant pathogens, and recently discovered viroid-like RNAs. PhD candidates will experience an interdisciplinary training environment and have the opportunity to participate in additional research placements across various countries, enhancing their expertise for future careers in academia or the biotech industry.
