Description
1. PhD Position in Optimisation-Driven Learning
- Supervisors: Luca Calatroni – DIBRIS
- Focus: Optimization-based learning strategies for image reconstruction focusing on non-Gaussian noise and unknown forward models. Students will conduct numerical validation using real-world microscopy data in collaboration with G. Vicidomini’s research group.
2. PhD Position in Generative Model-Aware Learning
- Supervisors: Luca Calatroni – DIBRIS
- Focus: Model-aware learning approaches that combine theoretical guarantees of model-based regularization with data-driven techniques. Research will aim to develop reconstruction procedures with provable guarantees under challenging conditions.
