Location

Eligibility/Qualification

  • Relevant academic background in archaeology, environmental sciences, biochemistry, or related fields.
  • Previous research experience in respective fields is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Description

Position 1: MEDLAND Project

Investigate Holocene landscapes and vegetation changes in coastal Thrace using a multi-proxy palaeoecological approach, integrating various data sources to study prehistoric and colonial settlement dynamics.

Position 2: BIOEAT Project

Reconstruct Roman eating habits through the analysis of organic residues in cooking pots and vessels, integrating biochemical data with archaeological evidence to explore dietary contributions of animal products in ancient Roman society.
