Eligibility / Qualification

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry or a closely related field
  • Strong background in synthetic organic and/or organometallic chemistry
  • Experience handling air- and moisture-sensitive compounds (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree score above 7/10 (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong motivation, enthusiasm for science, and willingness to learn new skills
  • Proactive, communicative, and team-oriented mindset
  • Ability and willingness to mentor junior or graduate students

Job Description

Selected PhD candidates will:

  • Design and synthesize novel phosphorus-based organic molecules
  • Characterize materials using advanced spectroscopic and analytical techniques
  • Investigate chiroptical and photophysical properties
  • Contribute to research in organic electronics and chemical sensing
  • Communicate scientific findings through publications, seminars, and conferences
  • Collaborate within an international and multidisciplinary research team
  • Develop independence in research while receiving strong mentorship
