Eligibility / Qualification
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry or a closely related field
- Strong background in synthetic organic and/or organometallic chemistry
- Experience handling air- and moisture-sensitive compounds (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree score above 7/10 (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong motivation, enthusiasm for science, and willingness to learn new skills
- Proactive, communicative, and team-oriented mindset
- Ability and willingness to mentor junior or graduate students
Job Description
Selected PhD candidates will:
- Design and synthesize novel phosphorus-based organic molecules
- Characterize materials using advanced spectroscopic and analytical techniques
- Investigate chiroptical and photophysical properties
- Contribute to research in organic electronics and chemical sensing
- Communicate scientific findings through publications, seminars, and conferences
- Collaborate within an international and multidisciplinary research team
- Develop independence in research while receiving strong mentorship
