Eligibility/Qualification:
- Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, Photonics, Nanotechnology, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field by the starting date.
- Bachelor’s degree holders may qualify in certain cases.
- Experience in quantum engineering, photonics, nanofabrication, nanomechanics, cryogenics, or superconductivity is advantageous.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
- A collaborative spirit, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to continuous learning are essential.
Job Description:
- Conduct cutting-edge research in quantum nanophotonics.
- Work collaboratively with a team of scientists, applied physicists, and engineers.
- Develop innovative hardware solutions to address energy loss in quantum processors.
- Utilize advanced facilities, including the MC2 Nanofabrication Laboratory cleanroom and state-of-the-art cryogenic, microwave, and optical measurement tools.
- Participate in the Wallenberg Centre for Quantum Technology (WACQT) initiative.
- Engage in independent research while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
