Eligibility/Qualification:
Required:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry, Nanotechnology, or related field
- Experience with electrochemical testing techniques (CV, EIS, GITT, galvanostatic cycling)
- Proficiency in thermal/safety analysis tools (TGA-DSC, ARC, DEMS, MCC)
- Hands-on experience with coin/pouch cell fabrication and testing
- Familiarity with solid-state electrolytes and lithium-metal batteries
- Skills in advanced materials characterization (SEM, TEM, XRD, XPS, Raman)
Preferred/Asset:
- Experience in glovebox or environmental chamber operations
- Battery modeling or gas emission analysis experience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Publications or previous industrial research experience
Job Description:
- Perform battery cycling tests and rate capability assessments
- Conduct electrochemical analysis using CV, EIS, GITT, etc.
- Evaluate safety and thermal performance of NMC-based pouch cells
- Characterize materials using cutting-edge techniques (SEM, TEM, XPS, Raman, etc.)
- Fabricate and optimize fast-charging coin and pouch cells
- Analyze interfacial evolution and material degradation
- Collaborate with national labs and industry partners on EV battery module design
- Engage in academic publishing and international conferences
