Eligibility/Qualification
- MSc degree in Artificial Intelligence, (Applied) Mathematics/Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong background in machine learning and computer vision; knowledge in robotics is advantageous.
- Solid mathematical foundations in statistics, calculus, and linear algebra.
- Excellent programming skills, preferably in Python.
- Highly motivated, independent, and creative individuals with strong communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- Prior publications in relevant machine learning or computer vision conferences or journals are advantageous.
Job Description
- Develop new deep learning, computer vision, and multimodal learning methods for embodied foundation models.
- Actively collaborate within the OpenBots Lab and contribute to its demonstrators.
- Present research progress internally and at international conferences and workshops.
- Publish research findings in proceedings and journals.
- Assist in teaching activities, such as lab assistance and student supervision.
- Complete and defend a PhD thesis within the duration of four years.
What We Offer
- A temporary contract for 38 hours per week for the duration of 4 years (initially 18 months, extendable upon satisfactory review).
- Salary range between € 2,770 (first year) and € 3,539 (last year) gross per month.
