Eligibility/Qualification

RequirementDetails
Required QualificationsMaster’s/PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physical Chemistry, or equivalent.
ExperienceRelevant laboratory experience; for postdoc, independent research track record required.
Language ProficiencyFluency in written and spoken English; knowledge of Norwegian or Scandinavian languages is a plus.
Desirable SkillsSpecialization in electrochemical processes, multivariate data analysis, machine learning, etc.

Job Description

The successful candidate will engage in:

  • Preparation and characterization of novel materials and composite membranes.
  • Design and testing of electromembrane cells.
  • Investigation of ion separation mechanisms under controlled conditions.
  • Development of stack systems and their evaluation at laboratory and pilot scales.
  • Conducting analytical literature reviews and testing composite membranes in electrochemical cells.
