Eligibility/Qualification

  • For PhD applicants:
    • Strong academic background in control theory, optimization, or machine learning.
    • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
  • For Postdoctoral applicants:
    • PhD in a relevant discipline (Control, Optimization, or Machine Learning).
    • Proven publication record in top-tier journals/conferences.
    • Demonstrated experience in research involving real-time decision-making or multi-agent systems.

Job Description

The selected candidates will work on advanced research projects involving:

  • Theoretical and algorithmic development in online learning, control, and optimization.
  • Application of developed methods to autonomous multi-agent systems.
  • Collaborative research with interdisciplinary teams at UT Austin.
  • Dissemination of research findings through high-impact publications and conference presentations.
