For PhD Applicants

  • B.S. or M.S. degree in:
    • Civil Engineering
    • Transportation Engineering
    • Systems Engineering
    • Computer Science
    • Mathematics

  • Strong programming skills in Python, MATLAB, R
  • Demonstrated interest in modeling, simulation, or data analytics

For Postdoctoral Applicants

  • PhD in a relevant field (Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, etc.)
  • Expertise in:

Job Description

PhD Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent and collaborative research on infrastructure resilience and extreme event modeling
  • Develop and apply data-driven, simulation-based, and AI-supported frameworks
  • Publish research findings in high-impact journals and conferences
  • Assist with lab activities, project meetings, and report writing

Postdoctoral Responsibilities

  • Lead advanced research on agent-based modeling, resilience analytics, or disaster prediction
  • Collaborate with PhD students and other researchers on multi-disciplinary projects
