Job Description

The selected candidates will utilize cutting-edge methodologies to study:

  • The influence of microbiome composition on infection resistance to C. difficile.
  • Microbiome xenotransplantation in germ-free mouse models.
  • Design and analysis of synthetic bacterial communities.
  • Genetic modification techniques to track C. difficile dynamics.
  • Mathematical modeling of colonization resistance parameters.

The positions offer opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and access to state-of-the-art research facilities through the NCCR Microbiomes and MCID networks.
