PhD Program at the Life Science: The Life Science Zurich Graduate School (LSZ Graduate School) invites highly motivated students with a Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Natural Sciences, Computer Sciences, or Engineering to apply for its comprehensive and challenging PhD program. Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Hold or anticipate receiving a Master’s degree or equivalent in the field of Life Sciences, Natural Sciences, Computer Sciences, or Engineering.
  • Demonstrated excellence in academic performance.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Open to national and international (including non-EU) students.
  • PhD studies typically span approximately 4 years.

  • For the November 2023 deadline: Virtual interviews (13-15 December 2023) and in-person visits (17-19 January 2024).
  • For the May 2024 deadline: Virtual interviews (12-14 June 2024) and in-person visits (8-12 July 2024).

Registration:

  • After securing a position within one of the programs, candidates must register either with the University of Zurich or ETH Zurich, depending on their future mentor’s affiliation.
