Eligibility/Qualification

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Completed degree must correspond to a minimum of four years in the Norwegian educational system.
  • Master’s project should involve methodological aspects using mathematical tools.
  • Proficiency in scientific programming.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Academic grades:
  • Bachelor’s degree: Average grade C or better
  • Master’s degree: Average grade B or better
  • Master’s thesis: Grade B or better

Job Description

  • Participate in cutting-edge research focusing on the development of new conformal prediction methods for knowledge graphs.
  • Work with graph neural networks (GNNs) and logic-awareness to enhance prediction models.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and interdisciplinary teams to tackle fundamental challenges in the intersection of machine learning, statistics, and logic.
  • Contribute to the academic community by engaging in teaching, supervision, and interdisciplinary research initiatives.
