Eligibility/Qualification
- Required:
- Master’s degree or in the process of completing a Master’s thesis in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related fields.
- Strong background in Statistics and Linear Algebra.
- Fluent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Desired:
- Experience in broader topics in Computer Science, Information Theory, or Mathematics.
- Candidates with foreign completed degrees corresponding to a minimum of four years in the Norwegian educational system.
Description
The PhD position emphasizes developing machine learning algorithms suitable for real-world applications such as the marine domain and neuroscience.
