Eligibility/Qualification

Description
The selected candidate will:
- Develop optimized compact models for optical amplifiers in PIC design.
- Design and test structures to isolate key physical effects in InP-based Semiconductor Optical Amplifiers.
- Conduct electro-optical measurements and analyze data for characterizing active photonic components.
- Collaborate closely with teams in process engineering, PDK development, and PIC design.
- Validate models through rigorous experimental processes and integrate them into Process Design Kits (PDKs).
- Contribute to European initiatives in photonics.
