Eligibility/Qualification
- Masterโs degree in urban planning, geography, urban studies, economics, social sciences, or movement sciences.
- Strong interest in travel behavior and sustainable mobility.
- Fluency in English and French; good knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
- No prior work as an assistant for more than 12 months.
- Valid permit for VUB and compliance with residence requirements.
Description
PhD candidates will conduct qualitative and quantitative research, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, publish findings, supervise masterโs students, and engage with various stakeholders through participatory processes. The project aims to reduce car dependency in Brussels and promote cycling as a viable transport mode.
