Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field
- Skills/experience or interest in at least one of the following areas:
- (Plant) protein biochemistry
- Live-cell imaging, image analysis, microscopy
- Developmental biology, physiology
- Excellent English communication skills
Job Description: The selected candidate will investigate the role of cytoplasmic auxin signaling pathways in the morphogenesis of above-ground Arabidopsis tissues. The project will:
- Analyze auxin-induced calcium (Ca) responses beyond the root system
- Utilize live-cell imaging, protein-discovery, and omics approaches
- Focus on shoot apical meristem development, hypocotyl growth, and leaf epidermal cell patterning
- Benefit from cutting-edge microscopy and imaging infrastructure at IEB
