- Experience working with microorganisms, preferably with plants
- Background in chemistry (natural product isolation, purification) or analytical chemistry
- Data analysis and (Python) programming skills desirable
- Proficient in English communication
Job Description:
The successful candidate will conduct research on novel antimicrobial natural products by analyzing the biosynthetic potential of moss-associated bacteria, selecting strains for cultivation, isolating and characterizing natural products, and assessing their bioactivities. The research will involve a combination of bioinformatics and metabolomics methods.
