Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Physics or Thermal/Electrical engineering
- Proficiency in English
- 1-4 years of research experience
- Strong knowledge of thermal transport, especially at nano-and micro-scale
- Experience with experimental laboratory work, particularly in thermal characterization techniques
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an interdisciplinary academic environment
- Interest in educational tasks
Description: The selected candidate will work on the ERC CoG project, THERMO2DEAL, under the supervision of Dr. Muñoz Rojo at ICMM-CSIC, Madrid. The project aims to characterize 2D materials and explore their thermal properties, focusing on electrochemical devices. The PhD student will utilize advanced thermometry techniques and contribute to cutting-edge research in materials science.
