Eligibility / Qualification
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Masterโs or equivalent degree in:
- Biology
- Biochemistry
- Biomedicine
- Or related life science disciplines
- Strong interest in cancer immunology and systemic immunity
- Experience with mouse models (preferred but not mandatory)
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative research environment
Job Description
The selected PhD candidate will:
- Investigate immune mechanisms linking asthma to reduced pancreatic cancer risk
- Study immune reprogramming affecting pancreatic susceptibility to oncogenic KRAS
- Work with advanced mouse models
- Apply multi-omics techniques, including:
- Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq)
- Spatial transcriptomics
- Bulk transcriptomics
- Systems-level data analysis
- Collaborate in an international, high-impact research environment
