Description

The PhD candidate will innovate AI-based systems to derive representative signals from millions of social media and news media points. These systems are expected to provide more accurate public opinion estimates than traditional polls. The research will also address misinformation, bias, and polarization, making strides toward fair and explainable AI systems. A scholarship value of approximately €114,000 is offered, which includes a tax-free stipend, registration fees, an international travel budget, and a new computer. In addition, doctoral candidates will participate in teaching as part of their professional development.
