PhD Scholarship in Alzheimer’s Disease Research: The Laboratory of Neuroimaging and Innovative Molecular Tracers at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Geneva, invites applications for a PhD scholarship. The successful candidate will investigate pathological mechanisms underlying Alzheimer’s disease and related neurodegenerative diseases using advanced neuroimaging techniques.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s degree in neuroscience, biology, medicine, psychology, computer science, or related disciplines
- Strong interest in Alzheimer’s and neurodegenerative diseases
- Basic statistical skills (e.g., R, SPSS, MatLAB)
- Experience with imaging analysis software (e.g., SPM, FSL) and large database management preferred
- Fluency in English (B2 level) required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Motivated and committed to conducting research in the field
Description: The PhD candidate will join the internationally renowned Laboratory of Neuroimaging and Innovative Molecular Tracers to study the pathological mechanisms underlying Alzheimer’s disease. The research will focus on understanding how neurodegenerative diseases develop and identifying neuroimaging biomarkers and targets to delay disease progression. The candidate will enroll in the Lemanic Neuroscience Doctoral Program and work on a doctoral project supervised by Professor Valentina Garibotto and collaborating researchers.
