PhD Scholarship in Analytical Chemistry: The Research Office at Curtin University is pleased to announce an open PhD scholarship in Analytical Chemistry. This scholarship is directly associated with an ARC Discovery Project titled “Unlocking the Potential of Poly(ionic liquids) for Electrochemical Sensing.” The successful candidate will engage in cutting-edge research, focusing on experimental electrochemistry and analytical chemistry techniques, with the aim of fostering employability in academia, industry, or other research-oriented sectors. The recipient will actively contribute to publications, oral and poster presentations, and complete a comprehensive PhD dissertation.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, New Zealand Citizen, Permanent Humanitarian Visa, or International Student.
- Completed BSc (Hons) in Australia or a Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Chemistry, Chemical Engineering).
- Full-time enrollment.
- Successful recipients must not be in receipt of any other scholarship.
Job Description: The selected candidate will be actively involved in:
- Conducting experimental electrochemistry and utilizing analytical chemistry techniques.
- Contributing to the research outcomes leading to publications and presentations.
- Collaborating with the project team and other stakeholders.
- Completing a PhD dissertation within the stipulated timeframe.
