PhD Scholarship in Biochemistry: The CBMN/IECB in Bordeaux, France, invites applications for a PhD position focusing on the structural and DNA-interaction studies of the membrane-associated protein RocS, which controls chromosome segregation in Streptococcus pneumoniae. The successful candidate will work with state-of-the-art NMR spectrometers and complementary biophysical experimental approaches. This research provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the understanding of cell division in a human pathogen and offers a unique combination of interdisciplinary techniques.
PhD Scholarship in Biochemistry, Biophysics, or Chemistry – Structural Insights into DNA Segregation in Streptococcus pneumoniae
Study Area: Biochemistry, Biophysics, or Chemistry
