Research Area
The PhD project will investigate the effects of wear on tooth function in primates and the significance of enamel thickness in both living and extinct hominoid species. The research will utilize advanced techniques, including high-resolution 3D digital models, 3D scanning, and micro-CT data analysis.

Eligibility/Qualification
Eligible candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree (minimum 4 years) in a relevant discipline with a research thesis, equivalent to Second Class Honours Division A; or
- Hold a master’s degree in a relevant discipline with at least 25% of one year of full-time study dedicated to a research thesis.
- Knowledge in human and non-human skeletal biology and experience in statistical analysis are strongly favored.
- Meet the English language requirements (e.g., IELTS score of at least 6.5 with no band lower than 6.0).
Job Description

- Conduct research on dental anthropology related to tooth enamel and primate evolution.
