Job Description:
Fully Funded EPSRC and Swansea University PhD Scholarship in Chemical Engineering: Fluid Dynamics of Glacial Sediments (RS484)
- Investigate the complex flow behavior of glacial sediments.
- Conduct laboratory experiments to measure fluid flow and deformation in the sediment bed.
- Develop theoretical models for glacier-sediment interactions.
- Collaborate with colleagues from the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge.
Funding:
- Full cost of tuition fees covered.
- Annual stipend at UKRI rate (£18,622 for 2023/24).
- Additional research expenses provided.
