Job Description:
The successful candidate will develop an experimental methodology to study early-stage nanoscale corrosion processes at the metal-liquid interface using advanced microscopy techniques including cryo-transfer FIB and APT. The focus will be on iron and steel corrosion in neutral and alkaline environments with applications in infrastructure, energy, transportation, radioactive waste disposal, and archaeology.
