Eligibility/Qualification:
- Graduate degree or equivalent, with a Master’s in applied mathematics or scientific computing being highly valued
- Sound knowledge of numerical analysis for PDEs and machine learning/deep learning with Artificial Neural Networks
- Basic understanding of the physics of electromagnetic wave propagation
- Proficiency in Python programming, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Job Description:
The successful candidate will embark on a comprehensive research project involving the development of scalable physics-based deep neural networks for modeling electromagnetic wave propagation. This includes conducting a bibliographical review, studying wave propagation models in both 2D and 3D scenarios, software development, and the numerical assessment of proposed physics-based multilevel surrogate models.
