Description
The overarching aim of this PhD project is to develop new rational approaches for engineering carbohydrate-active enzymes by utilizing molecular knowledge from X-ray structures and advanced computational techniques. Candidates will work closely with an international team and may engage in external collaborations, including a short research stay with a partner laboratory. This position also allows for contributions to teaching and undergraduate supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply innovative enzyme engineering strategies.
- Collaborate with various laboratories during the research.
- Communicate scientific findings and contribute to project-related teaching.
