Research Area

  • Primary Field: Medical Sciences / Reproductive Biology / Gamete Genomics
  • Project Focus: Validation of novel causative genes responsible for gametogenesis and infertility using male and female mouse knockout models at single-cell resolution (including Visium spatial transcriptomics) across in vivo, in vitro, and in silico levels.

Eligibility / Qualification

  • Education: Master’s degree in molecular biology, biotechnology, genetics, or a related field.
  • Laboratory Experience:
    • Basic experience in PCR and RT-qPCR.
    • Experience handling DNA and RNA (extraction and quality assessment).
    • Knowledge of Western blot, immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence (IF), or in vitro cell culture handling is highly preferred.
  • Language Proficiency: Very good written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Soft Skills: Strong motivation for scientific research, enthusiasm, and good team collaboration abilities.

Job Description

The PhD candidate will be expected to:

  • Actively contribute to the execution of research project goals.
  • Master and apply molecular and cellular experimental techniques.
  • Conduct data analysis and interpretation across experimental levels.
  • Write scientific publications and present research findings at seminars and conferences.
  • Assist in the supervision of junior students.
  • Participate in national and international training workshops and conferences.
