Description
The research project aims to revolutionize current separation technologies by developing 2D polymer heterostructure membranes (2DHMs). These membranes will facilitate selective and unidirectional ion transport, addressing the inefficiencies of traditional membrane technologies. Candidates will engage in a multidisciplinary research environment that combines theoretical and practical approaches, including chemical design, in-situ ion transport investigations, and collaborations with international research teams. The PhD position is for a maximum of 4 years, with opportunities for classroom teaching and supervision of BSc and MSc projects.
