Description: Luleå University of Technology, a hub of innovation and research excellence, invites applications for a fully funded PhD scholarship in Machine Learning. The project will focus on exploring machine learning methods for document analysis, spanning historical to modern documents. You will have access to state-of-the-art resources and a robust academic network in Sweden and abroad. Your responsibilities will include conducting experimental and theoretical research, presenting findings at national and international conferences, and potentially engaging in teaching activities. The employment period is limited to 4 years, with the possibility of departmental duties up to 20% of full-time. The preferred starting date is September 9, 2024, or by mutual agreement.
