Eligibility/Qualifications:
- MSc in Life Sciences (e.g., Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology)
- Proficient in molecular engineering and synthetic biology of eukaryotic microalgae
- Experience in metabolic pathway analysis, genetic manipulation, and bioreactor systems
- Familiarity with molecular biology techniques (gene cloning, CRISPR, DNA assembly)
- Strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and English proficiency at C1 level
Job Description:
As a PhD candidate, you will:
- Design and conduct experiments to enhance lipid production in microalgae
- Engineer metabolic pathways to optimize lipid biosynthesis
- Utilize synthetic biology techniques to modify microalgal strains
- Operate bioreactors and analyze data for project advancement
- Prepare technical reports, publications, and presentations
