Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or closely related fields.
- Background in nanotechnology, nanomedicine, or biomaterials science.
- Proficient in English.
- Team spirit and proactive attitude.
- Candidates must not hold a doctoral degree at the time of employment.
Job Description
- Design and engineer nanomaterial platforms for virus encapsulation.
- Utilize microfluidic techniques for encapsulating oncolytic viruses within liposomes.
- Evaluate nanoparticle stability and controlled virus release.
- Assess the biological fate and delivery performance of encapsulated viral systems.
- Collaborate with immunology and imaging experts.
- Engage in two secondments: University of Helsinki (3 months, Year 1) and University of Tor Vergata (3 months, Year 3).
