Job Description:
As a PhD researcher in the Optical Metrology Group, you will:
- Develop ultrafast mid-IR frequency combs focusing on the 4I11/2 to 4I13/2 Er3+ transition
- Construct a laser operating at a wavelength of 2.8 µm for open-air spectroscopy
- Gain hands-on experience in low-noise fiber lasers and mid-IR fiber handling
- Explore single-cavity dual-comb sources and stay at the forefront of mid-IR laser technology
- Collaborate with leading international research groups and present findings at conferences
