Eligibility/Qualification

  • MSc degree in computational (bio)physics, theoretical biology, computer science, applied mathematics, theoretical soft matter science, or related field
  • Experience in numerical modeling, finite elements, or particle-based simulations
  • Programming skills
  • Affinity for interdisciplinary research and collaboration with plant cell biologists
  • Proficiency in English at a C1 level (may require certification)

Job Description

  • Develop multi-scale models from micromechanical to continuum approaches to study stress evolution in plant tissues
  • Work closely with experimentalists and fellow PhD students in the GreenTE program
  • Participate in the GreenTE events, training, and collaborations
  • Teach MSc and BSc students
