Research Area

    • Solar-cell device fabrication, electrical testing (J-V, EQE, C-V, AS), and scalability investigation.

Eligibility & Qualifications

  • Academic Degree: A two-year Master’s degree (120 ECTS points) or an equivalent qualification in Materials Science, Materials Chemistry, Nanotechnology, Physics, or a closely related discipline.
  • Technical Skills & Experience:
    • Solid foundation in experimental laboratory research (thin films, nanomaterials, semiconductor synthesis, or device fabrication).
    • Familiarity with spectroscopic, microscopic, and structural characterization tools.
  • Language & Soft Skills:
    • High proficiency in written and spoken English.
    • Strong analytical problem-solving abilities and capacity to work both independently and within an international, multidisciplinary team.

Scholarship Description & Benefits

  • Employment Terms: 3-year full-time appointment based on the collective agreement between the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations and the Ministry of Finance.
  • Academic Enrolment: The candidate will be enrolled as a PhD student in one of DTU’s doctoral degree programmes.
